A striker at last!

Charlton u21’s enjoyed a 2-0 half time lead at Norwich last night but the hosts came back strongly to win 4-2 with four second half goals.

Lots of transfer news from yesterday. Yet to be confirmed by Charlton but looks like Corey Blackett-Taylor is leaving for Derby County, presumably for more than the paltry £250k they were rumoured to have offered last week. New signings too with local boy Rarmani Edmonds-Green becoming our latest double barrelled named player! Freddie Ladapo on loan from Ipswich Town looks a good signing though maybe he’ll only stay until Miles and Chuks are fit again.

This afternoon’s game promises much with four of the new signings now available for tomorrow’s squad. Michael Appleton talking positively about a 5-3-2 formation could mean no wingers playing tomorrow. With CBT away and TC struggling for consistency just now that might just be a case of making the best use of what players he has.

The under 18’s have a game this morning where a young squad is likely to be fielded given the FAYC match coming next Tuesday.
